Questions

How do you know if you should give something up and choose a new path?
I'm in a position where I know what the ultimate end result is and I am really really close to it, but I feel as if one more step towards it is going to drive me insane because it's not in my heart.

Why do people keep score in friendships and romantic relationships?
Seriously! Your friend saying "All those times you cried on my shoulder" makes you think twice. Are you my friend? Or am I just your basket case? You know who you are. Either you've been in the basket or you've carried it. Pick one please.

If a tree falls in forest and no one is around to hear it....
No I'm serious. I've been trying this experiment in my own life, and that should be hard considering the campus I live on, but surprisingly, I feel like I'm that tree in the empty forest. No one calls or comes by to see if you are even alive.
This goes for everyone: just because you see a person and they look ok, does not mean a thing.

Feel free to answer these questions. I would really like to know what y'all are thinking. Thanks!!

Lessons Learned

1. Just because something is not important to you, does not mean it isn't important to someone else.
People support others who are close to them regardless of how they feel towards the subject a lot of times, simply because if it matters to your loved one, it matters to them by default.

2. Love is NOT Blind.
I don't know who came up with that. It's just an excuse for people wanting remain oblivious to the truth of their situation. The way I see it: if God is Love, and God is omnipresent and omnipotent, then love must be the same. And I know for sure God ain't blind.

3. Malice and jealousy are not good looks on me.
The days I walk around campus with the slightest frown because of a bad mood, other people notice ( it's out of my character and they know something is wrong), plus I've been through enough to not even hold a grudge against anything or anybody.

4. People will take pictures. Even if you tell them not to!!!
I'm in that generation that grew up at the point where certain technologies became a prevelent part of our lives. Digital cameras, social media, and the internet are all some people know now, so I guess I should just be photo ready every time I step out of the house.

That's all I have time for right now. ttyl ☺️
